I apologize to any if this is against the rules.
I am heavily considering transferring from my current community college in Florida to SCAD. My intended major is Fashion Design. From what I gather from the site and other information I've received from the school, the facilities and the student work is pretty tip top.
I'm assembling (what i assume is) a strong portfolio for scholarship eligibility.
However, most sights that offer reviews of SCAD don't really touch on the fashion program at all. I'm having trouble hearing from actual SCAD fashion students what they think of the program. I figured if you learn all the essential skills of design, it's worth a go. I also have no insight on that logic.
Could any fashion students or former fashion students give me the real deal. Is it worth it? Do you enjoy it? What are the perks? The downside?
I'm scheduling a tour of the campus pretty soon and my estimated arrival is next fall.
Can y'all help a brother out?
